The installation consists of a set of vertical and horizontal support elements forming storage tunnels with support rails inside, on which the pallets rest during storage.
The verticals are made from standard perforated profile P.0001x2mm, with bent reinforcements from galvanized sheet metal, 1.5 mm thick. The height of the verticals is made to the customer's request, while the width and spacing between the verticals are determined based on a project according to the given dimensions of the warehouse, aiming for efficient space utilization and reduced material usage.
The cross beams, which increase the stability of the structure, come in two different types - roof and back. Roof cross beams are mounted at the top of the verticals between two verticals forming a tunnel. The cross beams are welded at the top and plates are welded onto them for tying roof weights. Back cross beams are mounted at the end of the tunnel on each level and are welded as standard cross beams. Short cross beams are used when there are a larger number of tunnels to form columns for increased stability.
Drive-in racks allow for maximum utilization of available space as pallets are placed one behind the other and are accessible only by a forklift. Unlike other storage systems, Drive-In racks can be used to store a large number of items of the same or similar dimensions and quantities.
Additionally, the load capacity per arm (cantilever support) of this system is up to 1,000 kg, and the maximum height of the racks can be as much as 12 meters.
