The installation consists of a set of vertical and horizontal supporting elements that form storage tunnels with supporting rails inside, on which the pallets rest during storage.
Verticals are made of standard perforated profile P.0001x2mm with bent stiffeners made of galvanized sheet 1.5 mm thick. The height of the verticals is made according to the customer's request, while the width and mutual distance between the verticals are determined based on the completed project according to the given dimensions of the warehouse, with the aim of more efficient use of space and less consumption of materials.
Traverse beams, which increase the stability of the structure, come in two types - roof and back. The roof traverses are mounted on top of the verticals between the two verticals that form the tunnel. Traverses are welded on top of the latches and plates for fastening roof weights are welded to them. Back traverses are mounted at the end of the tunnel, on each floor, and are welded like standard traverses. Short traverses are used in the case when a large number of tunnels are being built, so it is necessary to form columns - to increase stability.
Drive-In racks enable maximum use of the available space because the pallets are placed one behind the other and can only be reached with a forklift. Unlike other storage systems, drive-in racks can be used to store a large number of items of the same or similar dimensions and quantity.
In addition, the carrying capacity per arm (cantilever support) of this system is up to 1,000 kg, and the maximum rack height can be as much as 12 meters.
